The Colonials limited their opponent to only one offensive touchdown for the third consecutive week and Chadwick was at the center of the stalwart effort. The senior safety made a number of impactful plays on his way to a final state line of nine tackles (six solo), two interceptions and a pass break-up. Chadwick twice prevented the Pioneers from reaching the end zone, denying the Colonials’ opponent at the doorstep at two key junctures. With Sacred Heart facing a 2nd-and-goal from the 1-yard line, Chadwick teamed up with RJ Cook to stuff the ball carrier at the line of scrimmage with the Pioneers eventually settling for a field goal as a result. Chadwick’s second interception of the day came on the game’s final play. With Sacred Heart trailing and operating from Robert Morris 37-yard line, Chadwick picked off what could have been the game-winning touchdown pass at the 2-yard line. It was Chadwick’s work that allowed Robert Morris to get the ball back and embark on the go-ahead drive late in the fourth quarter. Chadwick stopped SHU’s Keshaudas Spence for a five-yard gain on a 3rd-and-13 play, forcing the Pioneers to punt and return the ball to Robert Morris with 2:57 remaining on the clock. Earlier in the half, Chadwick broke up a 3rd-down pass intended for Jo Jo Jamiel and forced another one of Sacred Heart’s 10 punts on the day.
