Doscher engineered a 30-point offensive effort in helping Wagner past Empire State rival Albany. The senior quarterback totaled 285 yards of offense in what was a battle for first place in the NEC standings and the inside track in the race for the conference’s automatic NCAA FCS playoff bid. Spearheading the Seahawks’ turnover-free showing, Doscher went 10-of-15 passing for 253 yards and two touchdowns in the 30-0 road win. The nimble signal caller was not sacked and added 32 yards rushing on 10 carries in what was Wagner’s first victory over Albany since the 2000 season. His two first-half touchdown passes (2, 88) bumped the Seahawks’ lead from 7-0 to 20-0 by the 11:35 mark of the second quarter. Doscher’s Week 10 performance continued a line of effective outings for the field general. He has accounted for 11 touchdowns (7 pass, 4 rush) and no interceptions during Wagner’s six-game NEC win streak.
