Pieczynski put forth the highest point total of any NEC player last week. Monmouth’s senior forward accounted for seven points (3G, 1A) during the two-game weekend sweep that moved the Hawks to 4-1 in conference play. Pieczynski struck in the 13th minute against Bryant, scoring on a deflection to give the Hawks a 1-0 lead in a game they would lead the remainder of the way. Monmouth’s all-time leading scorer rattled the cage twice in the first half of a 7-1 win over Siena. With the game tied at 1-1, Pieczynski scored the eventual game-winner on a deflection in the 24th minute. She added another tally as the first half expired, sending the Hawks into the dressing room with a 4-1 advantage.
