Central Connecticut’s Reece Wilson scored two goals and added an assist as the Blue Devils went 2-0-0 over the weekend, defeating both Mount St. Mary’s and Sacred Heart. Against the Mountaineers, he did most of his damage with a three-point effort as CCSU went on to win 4-1. He set up the game’s first goal and later netted his sixth strike of the year to give the Blue Devils a two-goal advantage, at 3-1, shortly after The Mount cut the deficit in half. Wilson then added some extra insurance in a 2-0 victory over Nutmeg State rival Sacred Heart, capping off the game in the 68th minute. Central Connecticut’s leading scorer with seven goals and 20 points, Wilson ranks second in both goals (7) and points per game (1.33) in the conference.
