With Robert Morris having lost its first two NEC games and trailing 1-0 late in the third league contest on the season slate, Martin-Brown stepped up and helped her team to its first conference victory since Oct. 21, 2011. Single-handedly providing all the scoring in Robert Morris’ 2-1 overtime road win over Siena, Martin-Brown struck first in the 69th minute. With time rapidly running out and the Colonials trailing the home side by a 1-0 margin, Martin-Brown took a pass from Jamie Hartley and drove home the equalizer. The Australian-born forward finished off her fine day by scoring the unassisted game-winning goal 8:22 into overtime. Martin-Brown, who fired four shots on goal in the win at Siena, did not manage to record a shot in RMU’s 2-1 road loss at Bryant on Saturday. The rookie has appeared in all 14 games for the Colonials this season and leads the way with eight goals.
