Adamshick’s performance in Saint Francis’ NEC opener allowed her to retain the NEC Rookie of the Week award. Coming off last week’s rookie honor, Adamshick produced one goal and one assist to help the Red Flash fly past NEC preseason favorite Monmouth in what served as the league lid-lifter for both sides. Helping the Red Flash compound what has been a program-best season start, the 5-foot-11 midfielder set up the first goal of Sunday’s matinee against the Hawks. Adamshick’s centering pass found Autumn Pellman who flicked it over the goal keeper’s left shoulder for a 1-0 lead in the 18th minute. Adamshick added a tally of her own when she converted off a penalty corner with only 21 seconds left before halftime. The freshman, who is also becoming known for her defensive prowess, has started all 11 games for the Flash and has five goals to her credit.
