Rider rediscovered its winning ways this past week with some help from its freshman midfielder. Muschs tallied a pair of goals, one in each of the Broncs’ victories. First, she gave Rider an always-welcomed insurance goal by hammering home a penalty stroke in the 68th minute of a 2-0 shutout of Big East member Villanova. Then, two days later, she set off a second half barrage that carried Rider to a 5-1 home win over Colgate. With the score deadlocked at 1-1 early in the second half, Muschs converted on her second penalty stroke in as many days. Musch’s eventual game-winner, which came in the 46th minute, was the first of four second-half tallies for Rider.
