Saunders reached new heights in the high jump at the UMass Spring Meet and returns to the NEC Rookie of the Week post as a result. The first-year Blue Devil successfully cleared 1.75m (5’ 8.75”) to win the meet and increase her NEC lead by three centimeters. Saunders, who also high-jumped 1.75m at the New England Indoor Championships, stands to break the NEC Outdoor Championship meet record should she repeat the performance in three weeks.
