Sacred Heart’s Ryan Hughes tied his career-high for saves in a game as the Pioneers took down Quinnipiac, 13-9, on Senior Night Saturday at home. The Bayport, NY product stopped 16 shots, equaling his mark set against Robert Morris on Apr. 7, 2012. He made 10 of those saves in the first half before recording four in the third quarter and a pair in the fourth. He also helped SHU hold the Bobcats 1-for-7 on man-up attempts.
