Rosemier-Gussio returns to the NEC Rookie of the Week post he first held back on March 20 as a result of his season-opening efforts in the 200m and 400m dashes. The first-year Mountaineer’s second honor of the outdoor campaign stems from the 100-200 sprint double he turned in at Mount’s Eric Kloiber Invitational. Rosemier-Gussio won the 100m and 200m dashes at the meet and posted impressive IC4A Championship-qualifying times while doing so. The 2012 NEC Indoor Most Outstanding Rookie performer lowered his league-leading 200m outdoor time to 21.58s, a mark that stands 55th in the NCAA East Region. His 100m dash time (10.88) ranks fourth overall in the NEC and second amongst conference freshmen.
