The reigning NEC Player of the Year, Hidalgo posted a marquee win over Quinnipiac’s Rachel Cantor in Bryant’s 5-2 victory over the defending champion Bobcats on Saturday. Hidalgo won, 7-5, 6-3, at the #1 flight to improve to 2-0 against league competitors. The native of Ecuador also paired up with Marcela Brandao for an 8-6 win at #2 doubles. The duo is now 5-1 on the season.
