Bryant’s Jameson Love is on a roll right now. The senior goalkeeper posted 11 saves as the Bulldogs won their fourth straight game, defeating Stony Brook, 10-9, in a double-overtime thriller on Saturday in Smithfield, RI. Love recorded two saves in each of the first three quarters before making five in the fourth to keep the Seawolves in check and set the table for Colin Dunster’s game-tying goal with just 25 seconds remaining. Bryant then controlled play in the overtime sessions, with Matt Larson sealing the win at the 3:35 mark of the second bonus-time stanza. With the win, Love is now 5-2 on the season and continues to lead the NEC in goals against average (8.37) and save percentage (.615). In last week’s NCAA statistical rankings, Love boasted the third-best save percentage in the country.
