Fresh off her NEC Indoor shot put title from February, Bridge appears hungry to add the 2012 outdoor crown to her resume. The veteran Red Flash thrower opened her outdoor campaign by putting the shot 14.03m (46’ 0.5”) at the Wake Forest Open. The performance catapulted the senior to the top of the NEC leader board and automatically qualified her for the ECAC Championships in May. She walked away from Wake Forest with a fifth-place finish in what was a stacked field of 39 shot putters.
