Freshman Kevin Massa had it all working for him in Bryant’s 14-12 win over Albany. The rookie midfielder won 23 of the game’s 29 faceoffs, including all 10 in the second half, and picked up a career-high 13 ground balls. He also dished out three assists, marking a game- and career-high for the Huntington, NY native, who entered the game with just one helper to his young resume. Additionally, four of the Bulldogs’ 14 goals came directly off faceoff wins. Massa, who has played in every game this year, leads the league in faceoff winning percentage (.636) and ground balls (47).
