It was a busy weekend for Jameson Love, who stopped 17 shots and allowed eight goals in a win over Vermont, 15-8. This week’s NEC Defensive Player of the Week, Love posted his fourth straight double-digit save performance of the season with seven in the first half and 10 in the second, including six in the fourth quarter. He also picked up an assist in the win, sending a long clearing pass to Mason Poli, who outran his Vermont counterparts to make it a 5-3 Bryant lead at the time. The senior netminder currently boasts a 2-2 record and leads the league in both goals against average (8.28) and save percentage (.642).
