Bryant’s Colin Dunster scored four goals and dished out one assist to help the Bulldogs stay perfect at home with a 15-8 victory over Vermont and earn this week’s NEC Offensive Player of the Week award. The second-year midfielder proved clutch after Vermont pulled within two nearing the midway point of the third quarter. Holding a 7-5 lead, Dunster kickstarted a 5-0 Bryant run with his second goal of the afternoon at the 8:17 mark. He then setup teammate Alex Zomerfeld less than a minute later before tallying his third strike on a man-up situation with six and a half minutes to play. Dunster later added his fourth goal of the contest in the final quarter, marking his fifth point of the afternoon and tying his career-high for points in a game set against Colgate earlier this season. Thanks to his effort, Dunster is now tied for the team-lead in points with 13. He also places in a tie for third in the conference, averaging 3.25 points per game.
