Sleith turned plenty of heads in her first career appearances on the mound for the Colonials as she took down a trio of teams that all had winning records a season ago. On opening day Sleith pitched a total of ten innings and allowed just eight hits and a lone run while striking out seven batters in wins over Towson (3-2) and Campbell (5-1). The Pennsylvania native followed up this performance by tossing a shutout against Ohio University, while registering five strikeouts against just one walk. This past Saturday Sleith picked up an eight-inning, complete-game victory over Kennesaw State before coming back that night to earn her first save. She allowed three earned runs on five hits in a combined 8.1 innings. She also threw two scoreless innings against 2011 NCAA Tournament qualifier Georgia State on Sunday. Sleith currently holds a 1.63 ERA over her first 34.1 innings and has posted a 4-2 record on the year.
