Bowen repeats as the NEC Rookie of the Week honors after turning in the conference’s fastest 5K time of the season. One week after logging the top 3K performance amongst NEC rookies, Bowen surged atop the league leader board in the 5,000-meter run by virtue of his showing at the 2012 Great Dane Classic. The freshman, who earned all-NEC honors in cross country this past fall, crossed the line in 14:43.60 to easily qualify for the IC4A Championships in March.
