White opened her indoor season by winning the mile run at the Fordham Christmas Classic. The second-year Bobcat completed the race in 5:05.08* (converted from hand time) to establish herself as the early season NEC event leader. White can qualify for the ECAC Championships in March by shaving 6.04 seconds off her season-opening performance. Had she run a 5:05.08 time at the 2011 NEC Indoor Championships, however, she would have claimed gold.
