Frye’s first collegiate performance resulted in a pair of marks that would have scored at the 2011 NEC Indoor Championships. The Jersey Shore product won the long jump and took silver in the 60-meter hurdles at Monmouth’s third annual MAC Classic. Her 5.47m (17’ 11.5”) mark in the long jump ranks atop the NEC leader board through the season’s first week while her hurdle time (9.18s) would have been good enough for an eighth-place finish at last year’s conference’s title meet.
