Bridge unleashed a bomb in her first shot put competition of the indoor season. The defending NEC champion put the shot 14.88m (48’ 9.75”) to win the Bucknell Bison Opener. The mark is 1.38m better than the qualifying standard for the ECAC Championships in March. The veteran Flash came within 47 centimeters of an ECAC mark in the weight throw, taking third at Bucknell with a 15.53m toss.
