Woodson accounted for the most kick return yards in a single NEC game this season while bringing back five kickoffs in a 45-34 win over Saint Francis (PA). The second-year Bulldog averaged 32.6 yards per run back on the way to 163 kick return yards. Woodson logged a long of 38 yards and all five of his return attempts went for at least 30 yards. The native Texan helped Bryant achieve an average drive start at its own 39-yard line. Following Saint Francis’ first touchdown, Woodson ripped off a 32-yard return that set the Bulldogs up at their own 42. He returned the opening kickoff of the second half 30 yards out to the Bryant 40. After the Red Flash cut Bryant’s advantage down to 31-21, the 5-foot-7 defensive back took the ensuing kickoff 38 yards into Saint Francis’ territory. He also logged 10 tackles and two pass break-ups from his cornerback position.
