Mesa posted the highest assist total in her young career as she notched 120 helpers over the course of the Pioneers 3-0 week. The freshman started off the week with a whopping 43 assists against Columbia and followed it up with 38 on the road against Saint Francis (PA) and then another 39 against Robert Morris. Her second Molten/NEC Rookie of the Week honor bookends her freshman campaign nicely as she earned the honor in the first week of competition to begin the year. Her 7.97 assists per game currently ranks fifth in the league.
