Brown put forth his third 220-plus yard rushing performance of the season, and second in NEC play, by running 33 times for 243 yards in an 11-point win over Saint Francis (PA). Averaging 7.4 yards per carry, the preseason all-NEC running back scored three times in the win that elevated Bryant’s home record to 4-1. Brown put the Bulldogs on the board by bursting 15 yards for a touchdown 6:21 into the opening quarter. Cutting back and out-running thed Red Flash defense, he broke off a 62-yard scoring scamper that extended the lead to 17-0 with 10:50 remaining in the second quarter. His third score of the game came from three yards out and extended the Bulldogs’ advantage to 24-7. The 5-foot-9 Constitution State product picked up five punt return yards and 15 receiving yards (on two catches) to total 263 all-purpose yards.
