Bogle’s fifth goal of the season not only won Central Connecticut’s final game of the season, a 2-0 decision over St. Francis (NY), but it also clinched his team’s first playoff berth since 2007. This week’s adidas/NEC Rookie of the Week, Bogle sent his Blue Devils to the NEC Tournament and improved their record to 10-8 when his chip evaded the grasp of the Terrier netminder and found its way into the back of the net in the 22nd minute of Friday’s contest. In addition to it being his fifth goal of the season, it was also his team-leading fourth game-winner of the season.
