Rademacher, the Molten/NEC Player of the week, helped Central Connecticut to a 2-0 record and a spot in the Northeast Conference Tournament over the weekend. The middle blocker accumulated 28 kills in seven games for a 4.0 kills per game average. But what was most impressive about the junior’s weekend was her hitting percentage. In the Blue Devil’s Saturday matchup with Saint Francis (PA), Rademacher posted a blistering .833 hitting percentage and followed by hitting .571 on Sunday against Robert Morris for a .650 percentage on the weekend. The Illinois native has hit .363 on the season, good for second in the league. Additionally, she contributed seven blocks last week, including five in Saturday’s win 3-0 win over the Red Flash.
