Calderon notches her second adidas/NEC Player of the Week honor of the season after she rolled to a seven point weekend. The senior posted a goal and an assist against Saint Francis (PA) in a 4-1 win over the first place Red Flash on Friday night. This was only the beginning for the California native as she carried her momentum into Monday’s final regular season game against Robert Morris. The forward scored two goals in the tilt, the first of which broke the Long Island career point record of 63. With her two markers she upped the record to 67. Calderon helped the Blackbirds secure the number two seed in this weekend’s NEC Women’s Soccer Championship and a semifinal meeting with the number three seed Monmouth.
