NEC Rookie of the Month
Raynor has made a terrific first impression for the defending NEC champion Bobcats, opening her collegiate career with a combined 13-2 record in singles and doubles over the first month of the season. At the Quinnipiac Invitational, the Garden City product won two-of-three matches to advance to the B Flight singles final before falling to teammate Sarah Viebrock. In the process, she picked up victories over in-state rivals UConn and Sacred Heart. Her doubles tandem with classmate Michelle Dassa also yielded impressive results as the duo won the Flight B championship at the Fairfield Doubles Festival and advanced to the title match at both the Quinnipiac Invitational and Eastern Championships. Over the course of three tournaments, Raynor and Dassa compiled an 11-2 record.
