NEC Rookie of the Month
Ammendola found success this past month at the New England Championships, winning the #4 singles flight title and #3 doubles flight crown along with teammate May Vickers. She never dropped more than three games in a set on the way to claiming her first-ever singles title with wins over Merrimack, Providene and ultimately, UConn, in the championship final. Ammendola went unbeaten in singles (5-0) and doubles (5-0) in October and is 10-1 in singles play on the year.
