Gibeau notches her second Molten/NEC Player of the week honor following a 2-0 weekend which catapulted the Blackbirds to first in the league. The sophomore averaged 4.25 kills and 1.40 digs per game in wins over Quinnipiac and Sacred Heart. Against the Bobcats, Gibeau recorded 13 kills and 33 assists as she picked up momentum for her terrific Sunday performance against NEC rival Sacred Heart. Gibeau posted 21 kills and 62 assists as the Blackbirds took over first place in a 3-2 win over the reigning NEC champs. The Colorado native’s 4.17 kills per game average currently ranks her second the league.
