Mirando records her first adidas/NEC Rookie of the Week honor after posting two goals for the Mount who went 2-0 this weekend, representing the first time the Mount has swept a pair of NEC games in the same weekend since 2004. The freshman scored both of her goals during Sunday’s 4-1 victory over Quinnipiac. The Pennsylvania native tallied with 8:51 left to go to give Mount a 3-1 lead, and then finished a Ragan Cote cross 1:36 later to seal the win. Mirando fired one shot in the Mount’s 1-0 win over Central Connecticut on Friday and now has three goals in her young career.
