Leventry pinned Wagner inside its own 20-yard line on three of his six punt attempts and kicked the longest field goal in Duquesne history during the Dukes’ 37-21 NEC victory over Wagner. The 6-foot-3 Leventry was on the field for every special teams play in the win, handling kickoffs, field goals, and punting duties for the Dukes who remained one-half game behind UAlbany in the NEC standings. He totaled eight points in the game, connecting on his lone field goal attempt and five PATs. He gave Duquesne a 17-7 lead heading into the break by nailing a program-record 51-yard field goal on the final play of the first half. The kick shattered the old school mark of 47 yards set by Doug McAuley vs. Mercyhurst in 1988 and was also one yard better than the Rooney Field record set by Robert Morris’ Jeff Carlo in 1998. Leventry punted six times for an average of 33.8 yards per kick, and none of the attempts resulted in touchbacks. Instead, he backed the Seahawks’ up into their own end on three occasions. He has punted 28 times this season and 13 of them have landed inside of the opponents’ 20.
