Ostrander, the 2010 and 2011 NEC Outstanding Swimmer, showed no signs of slowing down in her junior year campaign as she notched four individual first place finishes over the weekend. The junior won four of the six individual events she competed in, including the 50 free, 200 back and 100 back. She also did her part in the 200 medley relay, helping the relay team to a first place finish. With the help of Ostrander, Bryant defeat ACC foe Boston College, 136-126, in the Bulldogs first win over an ACC opponent in school history. On Saturday, Ostrander won the 100 back and also helped the 200 medley relay team swim to their second first-place finish of the season against in-conference rival Wagner. The Massachusetts native’s times in the 100 back, 50 free and 200 back currently rank first in conference.
