Accounting for 40 percent of his team’s offense during a 2-0 weekend, Central Connecticut State’s Eddy Bogle earned a share of this week’s adidas/NEC Rookie of the Week award. Bogle scored two goals, including the game-winner, as the Blue Devils defeated Robert Morris, 3-0, to stretch their winning streak to two games at the time. He then helped them to their third win in a row, a 2-0 blanking of Saint Francis (PA), on Sunday. Bogle, playing his first season of collegiate soccer as a sophomore, has three goals in CCSU’s last three games – all wins.
