After leading Monmouth and its offensive attack to a pair of conference road wins, Pieczynski retained possession of the NEC Player of the Week award. The junior forward sprinted out to a fast start in NEC play, tallying 11 points over the first two games of the league schedule. Pieczynski scored four goals and assisted on three others during victories over Bryant and Siena. She assisted on the Hawks’ first two tallies and scored the third as Monmouth jumped out to a 3-0 lead 26:20 into the NEC opener at Bryant. After cruising to a 4-1 win at Bryant, the Hawks received a scare at Siena but Pieczynski eventually squashed the Saints’ upset hopes. She opened the game’s scoring with a goal in the 9th minute on the way to her third hat trick of the season. All three of the foward’s tallies were of the tie-breaking variety and her assist snapped a 4-4 deadlock in the 63rd minute. Pieczynski fired 15 shots in the two games with nine going on goal. Both were team-high marks.
