Bannon notches her first adidas/Defensive Player of the Week honor of the year after her stellar performance in LIU’s 2-1 win over Ivy League foe Harvard on Friday. The Rhode Island native recorded eight saves in ninety minutes of play, but made her most critical stop of the game during the 86th minute, a lunging save to preserve the victory.
