Follete picks up adidas/NEC Player of the Week honors after helping Bryant to a 2-0 weekend record. The forward felt right at home in her native Massachusetts as she recorded two goals in the Bulldog’s 4-1 win over A-10 rival UMass on Sunday. The sophomore’s first goal came at the 35 minute mark off a long range shot that began as a give-and-go from teammate Jennifer Harding. Follete then put up her second goal in the 72nd minute, a shot from the corner that bent just under the crossbar to put the Bulldogs up 4-1. She also recorded three shots on goal in Bryant’s 1-0 shutout of Manhattan last Friday.
