Robb picks up her first career Molten/NEC Rookie of the Week honor after she totaled 38 kills and 24 digs on the week. The freshman amassed a season-best five blocks, nine kills and seven digs as Robert Morris knocked off MAC opponent Youngstown State 3-1 on Tuesday. But it was the Michigan native’s play in a 3-1 victory over NEC foe Long Island on Saturday that was most impressive. The outside hitter collected the second double-double of her career as she put up a season best and game-high 18 kills, the best single-match total by a Colonial freshman since 2007. The rookie also contributed 14 digs against the Blackbirds. Robb notched 11 more kills in a 3-0 sweep over St. Francis (NY) on Sunday and now leads the team with 3.45 per game.
