Clerk won an individual bronze medal and also took part in a record-breaking relay performance at the Yale Springtime Invitational. The native Staten Islander, who took her collegiate career across the Verrazano Bridge to St. Francis (NY), took third place in the 400-meter hurdles at Yale. Clocking in at 1:04.42, Clerk finished behind only Jenna Poggi of meet host Yale and St. John’s Shayna Presley. Clerk’s time topped four other NEC athletes who contested the event at Yale. Clerk also ran the second-fastest split on the 4x800 relay team that set the St. Francis program record.
