Timko led Robert Morris from the plate to a critical doubleheader sweep of Quinnipiac by going a combined 4-for-6 with two home runs and four RBIs. In the opener, she launched a three-run, opposite field-shot in the first inning that opened the floodgates offensively for the Colonials in the 11-1 triumph. In the nightcap, Timko was equally as potent, going a perfect 3-for-3 off Quinnipiac ace and NEC leader in ERA and opposing batter average Heather Schwartzburg. She delivered a game-tying homer on a 0-2 pitch in the bottom of the fifth. It marked the third occasion in her career in which she homered twice on the same day for the Colonials. The junior, who sported a 1.667 slugging percentage and a .667 on-base percentage for the two-game stint, came through on both ends in the game's decisive 10th inning. With two outs and a Bobcat runner on third, she tracked down a lined shot in deep left center that seemed destined for extra bases to preserve the 2-2 tie. Finally, Timko sealed the win with a key sacrifice bunt in the bottom of the 10th as the winning run crossed home plate on the ensuing play.
