Going up against a number of the nation’s top track athletes at the LSU Alumni Gold Invitational, Radden accounted for a sprint double that ranks amongst the best in NEC history. The two-time NEC Indoor MVP posted the top 100-meter (10.50) and 200-meter (21.09) dash times of any NEC sprinter this outdoor season. Radden finished sixth amongst the 100m field at LSU, but his mark was good enough to overtake defending NEC champion Chad Brown (Mount St. Mary’s) for the conference lead. Meanwhile, he took bronze in the 200m at LSU and strengthened his grasp on the NEC lead in that event. The third-place time at LSU was 0.12 second faster than the one that won him the gold medal at the UConn Husky Invitational on April 7. Not since former All-American Arman Dixon competed for Sacred Heart back in 2008 has a NEC sprinter produced better times than the ones Radden logged at LSU.
