Brown proved himself to be the “Fastest Man in the NEC” at the conference’s 2010 outdoor championships, and the Mount sprinter appears poised to retain his title. In his first competition of the outdoor season, Brown ran the seventh-fastest 100-meter time out of 73 competitors at the Wake Forest Open (Mar. 18). Crossing the line in 10.78s, Brown moved right to the top of the NEC leader board and qualified for the IC4A Championships in the process.
