Ruppert anchored a brilliant defensive effort, lifting Robert Morris to its first-ever win over a ranked opponent. He held the Bucknell offense, which ranked among the top 15 nationally in shooting percentage, to less than half of its average offensive output by making 12 stops and conceding just five goals in the 7-5 victory. With his performance, Ruppert became the first Colonial goaltender in program history to record double-digit saves in five consecutive games played. Ruppert limited Bucknell to its lowest single-game goal total in over two years and also yielded just two non-special teams scores, the fewest Robert Morris has allowed in its past 50 games.
