DiRado was the driving force behind Kutztown’s third-place showing and 7-0 NCAA record at the Allentown Sectional of the USBC Championships. Leading the nationally-ranked Golden Bears to a spot in the USBC National Championships, which will unfold April 21-23, DiRado averaged 19.62 pins per frame in seven matches against other NCAA teams contesting the event. The rookie righty bowled a team-high 146 baker frames over the entire course of the event and filled 85.6 percent of them. DiRado, who compiled a .460 strike percentage during the two-day tournament, helped Kutztown to a pair of victories over fellow NEC members Long Island and nationally-ranked Adelphi.
