One week after teammate Sara Litteral held the honor, Ganjoin picks up her league-leading fourth NEC Bowler of the Week award. The lefty’s phenomenal senior season continued this past weekend at the Northeast Conference Spring Meet in Howell, NJ, not far from her hometown of Brick. Leading National No. 1 Fairleigh Dickinson to an 8-1 meet record that clinched the program’s first-ever NEC regular season title, Ganjoin topped all bowlers by averaging 22.02 pins per frame. The senior southpaw accumulated a 1,982 pinfall over nine traditional games, during seven of which she exceeded the 200-pin mark. Filling 93.3 percent of her frames over the course of the two-day meet, Ganjoin’s left hand was hot from the start. She opened play by bowling a team-best 234 game in a 1,028-966 triumph over No. 15 St. Francis (NY). Ganjoin turned in a 246-pin performance to help FDU outlast No. 8 Kutztown in the first day’s final match. The lefty opened Sunday’s schedule by producing her weekend high of 256 in a 1,047-952 win over No. 13 Adelphi. Ganjoin filled 93.3 percent of frames bowled, leaving only six opens in nine matches. The southpaw threw 56 strikes in 103 attempts (.544).
