Mundorf wins her third NEC Defensive Player of the Week award of the year after stopping eight shots in Monmouth’s 13-8 win over La Salle on Wednesday. The senior from Cambridge, MD has now held opponents to single digit scoring four times this season - all Monmouth wins - and has saved at least 50 percent of the shot attempts she has faced in five-of-seven outings on the year. Mundorf currently leads the NEC with an 8.29 goals against average and her .547 save percentage is the best in the nation. At 5-2, Monmouth is off to its best start since the 2000 season.
