Bloom is one of the ringleaders of a solid freshman class at Bryant, one that accounted for 18 of the team’s 21 goals last week. She netted five goals and added five assists as the Bulldogs split a pair of matches on a swing through California. Bloom scored once and contributed four assists - one of which setup the game-winner - last Monday in a 9-7 win at Fresno State. Her five points was a game-high, a figure she matched on Friday in a 19-12 setback at UC-Davis. In that game, she scored four goals, added a helper and recorded two ground balls to keep the Bulldogs within one goal with 11 minutes to play before the Aggies pulled away down the stretch. Bloom, who hails from Hauppauge, NY, leads Bryant with 11 goals, four assists and 15 points.
