Hunzaker came off the bench five frames into Fairleigh Dickinson’s first match at the ECAC Invitational, and her red-hot hand remained in the lineup throughout the remainder of the tournament. The freshman righty posted a 20.31 overall frame average over the course of the two-day event that ended with FDU claiming its fourth tournament title of the season. Hunzaker accounted for a 213.4 five-game traditional average that was highlighted by a 248 game in a win over Hampton. Helping, Fairleigh Dickinson win seven of eight matches at the annual ECAC title meet, she filled 90.8 percent of 76 frames bowled. She registered 39 strikes in 83 attempts, a .470 conversion rate, and cleaned up 83.7 percent of her spare chances. Hunzaker, the lone freshman in a mostly-veteran lineup, is the first FDU bowler to claim the NEC Rookie of the Week award this season.
