After making three appearances and two starts for Quinnipiac at the USF Under Armour Invitational, Schwartzburg managed to put two wins in her own column as well as the Bobcats'. The junior pitched 16 and 1/3 innings, including two full games in wins over Loyola Marymount and Florida International. She exhausted batters from the opposing teams in both contests, allowing just one run apiece. The California native hurled nine strikeouts against Loyola Marymount and 11 against Maine, making easy work for the Bobcat offense. In total, she amassed a 0.43 ERA and permitted only two runs and seven hits. Schwartzburg doled out 26 strikeouts overall and committed a single error.
