McQuain closed out the regular season by notching a pair of double-doubles, running her rookie year total to seven. The freshman forward averaged 14.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per contest against the NEC’s Garden State contingent. The first-year Bobcat totaled 64 minutes of court time in games against Fairleigh Dickinson and Monmouth. Clearly possessing an ability to pass from the post, McQuain dished out 10 assists while committing only one turnover over the two-game sample. The 5-foot-11 post player had 13 points, on 5-for-10 shooting, and 13 rebounds in a 75-56 triumph over FDU. She put up 15 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists in the Bobcats’ regular season finale, a near-upset of Monmouth. The freshman from Missouri caps the 2010-11 regular season campaign securing her second Choice Hotels weekly honor. McQuain first received recognition back on January 25 for her efforts in wins over Mount St. Mary’s and Wagner. Her 7.2 rebounds per game average ranks 10th overall amongst NEC leaders, and second amongst the conference’s freshmen.
